Let’s Talk About It
One of the articles below talks about how HR leaders are turning recruiters into strategic talent partners. I know that over these last few years a lot of us sourcers have wanted to make a career change, but it can feel out of reach. People suggest sales as a good transition, but a lot of TA people don’t want to move into sales. Anyway.
Relatable Content
So true.

TA News
To find these articles, I just type in words like: “talent acquisition” or recruiting or recruitment onto Google News. I don’t really use Boolean, I type them in separately. The best thing to type in is “talent acquisition,” because anything about recruiting usually brings you to sports news or army news.
I will continue adding these to the Google Drive!

Tips and Tricks for Talent Acquisition Folks and Job Seekers
Tip #452: If you are looking for new opportunities, double-check that you are open to messages from recruiters on here! I came across a few people just last week that were Open to new opportunities, but I couldn't send messages to.
Top #453: When looking someone up online, try different variations of their name in a Boolean string. For example, (“mikey weil” OR “mike Weil” OR “‘michael weil”).
Tip #454: Check your LinkedIn Projects for people who are now Open to work! This also shows up in your notifications on Recruiter.
Tip #455: Reading fine print before signing up for something can be daunting. You want to make sure you read everything, but we don’t have that time. You can use ChatGPT, along with other AI platforms, to read it for you and point out the important parts!
Tip #456: If you can't view a news article because the website wants you to pay, you can sometimes still view it by saving the page as a PDF!

As a reminder, none of these people are responsible for the jobs, they are just sharing roles they have come across.
