Hello!
Happy New Year! Can I still say that?
Today’s Edition
I have added some new sections to the newsletter. I am still trying to figure out this newsletter. What is the theme? Who exactly is the target audience? What do I want to include in the free version vs. the paid one when I roll out that option soon?
In the meantime, thanks to all that have been reading this newsletter for the past nine months!
A Little About Me
If this your first time here, I wanted to tell you a little bit about my professional background. And if it isn’t your first time here, maybe there are still some new things for you to learn!
I have been in sourcing for 11 years. After struggling to find a solid career out of college, that is what happens when you study Filmmaking and Creative Writing, I eventually found my way into Sourcing, which I didn't even know existed. Since then, I love to help other people find jobs, as I know what that struggle can be like.
I have worked worked in RPO, corporate, and agency backgrounds and have hired in industries like banking, manufacturing, veterinary, dairy, tech, and pharma.
I am a six-time conference speaker, having spoken at Sourcing Summit, Evry1, SourceCon, HRTX, and ATAP's Global TA Day. I am a three-time Dueling Sourcing, an ERE panelist, a podcast guest, and have written blog posts for different sourcing publications.

Relatable Content
We have all been there before: Working for a company and we have no idea what they heck they actually do.
Or when it comes time for your performance review and all of a sudden you have to think about all of the things you did over the past quarter.
A Boolean String:
I use Boolean for 8 hours a day, Monday-Friday. And I also use it at night. And on the weekends. It can be used so much in our day-to-day.
So, I figured I would add this section where I include a fun boolean string to use in your every day. Whether you work in recruiting or not, these strings can be relevant to you.
People want to start off the new year with a new job. And a lot of people are looking for remote jobs. Here is a string that you can use to find remote jobs and websites focusing on remote jobs.
(job OR jobs OR career OR careers) AND (remote OR virtual OR home)
TA News
To find these articles, I just type in words like: “talent acquisition” or recruiting or recruitment onto Google News. I don’t really use Boolean, I type them in separately. The best thing to type in is “talent acquisition,” because anything about recruiting usually brings you to sports news or army news.
I will continue adding these to the Google Drive!

Talent Acquisition Positions
If you aren’t following me on LinkedIn, hit that follow button as I often share the TA job postings that others share. These postings that I share come from Martin Ngo, David Marr, Swati Soni, Haley O’Neil, Alexandru Gotoi, Tawfiq Abu-Khajil, Alan Gomes, Amy Packard Checketts, David Valencia.
As a reminder, none of these people are responsible for the jobs, they are just sharing roles they have come across. So, make sure to hit that apply button but remember they can’t help you much past that point. Oh, and make sure to not just use Easy Apply, you must also apply on the company website.
Don’t forget to follow these awesome people on LinkedIn, so you can keep up with their posts. And hit that Share button, so you can help others like you!
Here are some of their posts from the past few weeks
